“KEW Technology is a UK headquartered sustainable energy and solutions company. The company has developed, and commercially deployed a unique Advanced Thermal Conversion (ATC) technology that tackles climate change by efficiently converting all types of non-recyclable resources and low-grade biomass into a wide-range of sustainable energy vectors, such as power, heat, hydrogen and fuels for a net-zero carbon future.
Lying at the heart of two parallel market evolutions, the drive towards net-zero and the shift to zero waste as part of a circular economy, KEW deploys its carbon-capture ready technology into developed projects, helping industrial corporates to achieve their net-zero ambitions in harder to decarbonise areas such as industrial gases and fuels.
KEW has a flag-ship demonstration plant, called the Sustainable Energy Centre, at Wednesbury in the UK, where KEW will showcase its pioneering technology. ”
Within the Repowering the Black Country (RtBC) project KEW Technology will be the technology provider for the main hub designs. This will be achieved by providing low carbon energy and heat to energy intensive industries that are hard to decarbonise while collaborating on carbon reduction projects and identifying circular economy opportunities.
Dr. K. Stamouli
Technical Development Manager
I am the Technical Development Manager for KEW Technologies and have extensive background of over 15 years in project engineering and management in the Renewable energy sector. Over the last 8 years I have been rigorously involved in the development of innovative projects for energy and materials recovery from waste streams.
KEW Technology is one of the main partners in the BEIS Repowering the Black Country (RtBC) Projects which aims to develop a Cluster Plan for the decarbonisation of the Black Country by 2040. Under this project I will manage KEW’s deliverables with the support of KEW’s engineering, procurement, site and commercial team to enable the swift delivery of the Phase 2 cluster plant by applying a rigorous structured approach to the engineering, ensuring best practices are applied. HSE is considered throughout, prevailing regulations and standards are followed, and model and design reviews are effective and comprehensive. I will also closely manage the core engineering, financial and commercial team and oversee the development and deployment of low and net-zero methodology for the decarbonisation of involved businesses.
