One of the most cost effective projects SDE Technologies has undertaken is upgrading metal halide lighting within their factories to LED alternatives.
Sub-metering of energy intensive items of plant
To understand where energy is being consumed at it's highest, a sub-metering project was implemented. This allowed for a targetted approach in reducing plant energy consumption
Solar and Battery Storage
There are currently plans to install a 250kWp photovoltaic array and provide battery storage for any energy produced that is not utilised at time of production
