I am the Managing Director of Pro Enviro Ltd and have more than 30 years of experience in the field of developing Low Carbon policies and strategies for the manufacturing and energy-intensive sectors of the UK economy. I manage teams of Energy Engineers and scientists who develop Low Carbon strategies and implement Low Carbon technologies to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emission for manufacturing operations.
In the past ten years, I have been involved in the design and delivery of several Low Carbon energy and resources efficiency business support programmes for Local Authorities and Innovate UK. We have delivered over 500 Low and Zero Carbon expertise and Energy Engineering solutions for companies in the Worcestershire, Shropshire and Herefordshire areas through the Business Energy Efficiency (BEEP) programme. Also, we have delivered over 200 carbon reduction strategies to companies in the Staffordshire area through the Low Carbon Business Evolution Programme (LCBEP), designed and delivered Low Carbon business support activities for the West Yorkshire Combined Authorities’ REBiz and Peterborough (PECT) programmes.
Pro Enviro is one of the partners in the BEIS Repowering the Black Country (RtBC) Project which will develop a Cluster Plan for the decarbonisation of the Black Country by 2040. I will be managing the development of the Virtual Zero Carbon Hub (VZCH); this is a knowledge management tool that will be used for engaging and transferring knowledge to energy intensive Black Country businesses on how to decarbonise their businesses.
I will also be heavily involved in the business engagement and delivery aspects of the RtBC project. I will be overseeing the development and deployment of the Low and net-zero carbon strategic programmes, to deliver technical and financial support services to over 500 companies in the region and ensuring that they are implemented effectively and efficiently.

I am a Senior Consultant at Pro Enviro and have over twenty years experience in the development and delivery of Low Carbon and Zero Carbon projects at both regional and company level. Prior to my time at Pro Enviro I was the Managing Director of the Yuasa Automotive Battery company and have a further 20 years experience in the automotive, aerospace and food sector. I also spent a short time studying with Prof. Michael Beer at the Harvard Business School looking at the implementation of corporate strategy and the fit and fitness of any organisation to deliver it.
Within the Repowering the Black Country project I am responsible for ensuring that the Virtual Zero Carbon Hub offers organisations in the region a service that will allow them to actively engage in the journey to net-zero carbon and allow them to improve their business performance at the same time.
