Installation of Solar PV
To reduce our reliance on the National grid, and reduce our carbon emissions via the national grid, we are planning to install a 60kWp solar PV array. This will provide green energy for our site, and offset some of our electrical consumption.
Micro-metering of Energy Intensive Plant
We have performed a macro-level analysis of our energy consumption alongside Pro Enviro, but we have recently undergone a micro-level assessment using micrometers. These can help us identify where our greatest energy consumption is occuring, and take action to reduce our overall consumption and emissions.
Raising Staff Awareness
To help reduce our overall impact on the world around us through all paths of life, we have begun to make all our staff aware of where our carbon emissions are coming from, and actively encourage them to make greener choices at home and in the workplace
